A Simple Peony For A Gorgeous Cake

Found these cakes as great examples on how to style our sugar peonies on a cake.  Enjoy!

Our Modern Luxe Table at the Cyn In The City Event

A few months ago, when we first collaborated as event planners, we were approached by Lorri Tippett from the extravagant Vellano Country Club in Chino Hills to do a sample dessert table.  The event was hosted by the Country Club and coordinated by Cynthia of Cyn In The City.

We had a lot of fun putting this dessert table together.  If you love the paper flowers we used for the backdrop, you'll find a great tutorial here by Pizzazerie.

We got the elegant grey print at IKEA.  It's actually a curtain.

I played around with petal shapes to come up with this

Loved the poufy poms on these 'favor' boxes.  The striped wafer sticks were a wonderful find from the Asian market

Feeling like Sunny Pastels

Everything in California these days seem blanketed in warm colors.  I'm liking the sun and these soft summery colors... peach iced tea with mint anyone?
