A Simple Peony For A Gorgeous Cake

Found these cakes as great examples on how to style our sugar peonies on a cake.  Enjoy!
This was my first attempt at making a sugar peony.
The bride asked for a saturated red
This is our most popular shade of peony
My daughter's 5th birthday cake.  The cake was storebought and I threw
these flowers on there at the last minute.

Love the hot pink and rich blue of this

A customer actually came to me with this photo and wanted some peonies for them.  This is what I came up with!
Available in the shop right here!
I love the handpainting on this.
The peony is a great accent

Can this home be turned into a party?

I love this color and I love the sharp, crisp lines and bold black numbers.  If this were the kitchen to an awesome house, what would the rest look like if it became a party?
Some notes: *Crisp lines  *Slightly preppy *Natural feel  *Bold typeface  *Grass grass green

Our Modern Luxe Table at the Cyn In The City Event

A few months ago, when we first collaborated as event planners, we were approached by Lorri Tippett from the extravagant Vellano Country Club in Chino Hills to do a sample dessert table.  The event was hosted by the Country Club and coordinated by Cynthia of Cyn In The City.

We had a lot of fun putting this dessert table together.  If you love the paper flowers we used for the backdrop, you'll find a great tutorial here by Pizzazerie.

We got the elegant grey print at IKEA.  It's actually a curtain.
I played around with petal shapes to come up with this
Loved the poufy poms on these 'favor' boxes.  The striped wafer sticks were a wonderful find from the Asian market

Feeling like Sunny Pastels

Everything in California these days seem blanketed in warm colors.  I'm liking the sun and these soft summery colors... peach iced tea with mint anyone?

New to the shop!

A light as air, cheery daisy cupcake topper!  The delicate petals are made of edible rice paper and the center is a limey green fondant.  I'm loving how simple and colorful this is.  Order a bunch from the shop to dress up your cupcakes.

Paris Ivory Photoshoot

Sharing some great photos from our Paris Ivory Photoshoot a few months back.  We love the romantic feel of this one.  The printables for this were relatively simple but gave just the right impact.

Cute little edible cabochons!  These are rosettes.  Available in our shop here
A creamy champagne anemone sugar flower
A very romantic peony next to our well dressed water bottles.

{FEATURED!} Our Mod Safari Cupcake Toppers

We are so happy to announce that we had been featured in March Issue of The Party Dress Magazine as well as the Parties by WH Hostess Blog.  Christi Bennett from P is For Party contacted me a few weeks before the party asking for some custom cupcake toppers to go with a Safari themed birthday party for her son.  I was able to come up with a design that matched the unique color scheme and prints that Kelly of WH Hostess came up with.  Here are some photos from the WH Hostess Blog.  My toppers are on the cupcakes. Vendor credit was given as Sweet Petal Bakery (our former name).
